Enjoy an evening with harmonica maestro Bruce Ewan and his band, the Solid Senders, as they bring classic blues music to the MSV. Ewan has been a part of the Washington, DC blues scene for more than 30 years and has toured Europe and Latin America to great acclaim. Bruce will be joined by guitarist Steve Jacobs, who played for 20 years with legendary blues harmonica player Carey Bell, bass player Steve Shaw, and drummer Bob Berberich, formerly with Nils Lofgren’s trio, Grin. Before or after the music—sets begin at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.—visit the galleries, shop in the Museum Store, or visit the Museum Café for a light dinner (limited menu available) or dessert. Wine will be sold in the Museum lobby, too!
