The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley (MSV) interprets the art, history, and culture of the great valley for which it is named. This regional history complex includes the Glen Burnie Historic House, six acres of spectacular gardens, and the Museum designed by architect Michael Graves. The Museum is open year-round, the gardens are open spring through fall. This historic house is now closed until 2014 for a preservation project. Ticket prices range from $6 to $10.

The Museum is open year-round; the gardens are open spring through fall. The gardens will be open from March 1 through October 31 in 2012. The site is open Tuesday-Sunday and are closed Monday. In addition to the standard Monday closings, the Museum will be closed on the following days:

  •  Thursday, November 22, 2012 
  •  Monday, December 24, 2012
  •  Tuesday, December 25, 2012
  •  Tuesday, January 1, 2013
